‘Sunny Nelson’ is the oldest city in the South Island of New Zealand and the home of beautiful beaches and trails, national parks, plenty of sunshine, amazing cafes and eaterys and a variety of accommodation options to suit every budget. One of the best things about our region is that you don’t have to travel far to find world class outdoor activities, one of which is our mountain biking scene.

There really is something to suit everyone’s biking interests in Nelson. There’s hardcore downhill fun to be had at Codgers, Sharlands and Kaiteriteri trails. Back country missions can be found on the Dun Mountain and Rameka tracks. For those that enjoy chilling and eating there’s the easygoing Great Taste Trail and urban trails to choose from.
